CTL. Fourth Generation Language
CTL. Fourth Generation Language
CTL is a programming language that allows you to develop any application quickly and safely. By its design, CTL gives rise to very powerful and easy-to-maintain programs, with a reduced number of lines.
Programs written with CTL are 100% portable between UNIX / Linux, Windows, local area networks, etc. CTL guarantees the writing of a single source code portable to any hardware platform.
CTL is a non-procedural, structured and recursive language that extends a complete set of a 3GL standard language incorporating all the usual flow control instructions.
In addition to the characteristics that we usually find in other 3G languages such as parameters, variables or arrays, CTL has a series of specific objects aimed at enhancing programming tasks such as FORMS, FRAMES, STREAMS, CURSORS or MENUS.
CTL incorporates all the power of SQL embedded in its syntax in the same way that it provides an effective interface for accessing operating system functions.
